Filling the Holes

All the corners are sewn together and I think this will be the final arrangement.
The top half, looking up.....

and the bottom portion.   My place has windows on the north and east so even though it's a nice sunny day, I'm in the shade.  Nice for summer heat but really bad for picture taking.

It's working out to be about 54" x 63".  I have two of the five inch charms left and about 12 of the layer cake pieces.  Once it's all together, I may be able to add some length  or width to it.

Except for the Pink Flamingo fabric, the rest is all from stash and leftovers from other projects.  There are 2 shades of green, 2 shades of yellow, turquoise and white.  The white is a metallic type from last Christmas and really shows up in the shade.

This is the entire piece.  Now to put all my puzzle pieces together!

  1. This is going to be amazing! I never was able to get any Pink Flamingo, but I can get the vibe from you! The star colors are perfect. I can't wait to see this one finished! Fantastic job!
